PROJECT CONSIDERATIONS
SHALLOW GRIND
The most common option, this includes your stump ground away 4 to 6" below grade. This works best for areas where new grass or shallow rooted plants will be replacing the tree.
DEEP GRIND
A deeper grind should be considered whenever planting beds or deeply rooted plants. To meet these project goals stumps should be ground 6" or deeper.
STUMP CHIP REMOVAL
Stump grindings are a mixture of wood chips and dirt immediately surrounding the stumps. For this reason, this mixture can often be difficult to re-purpose. Additionally, decaying stumps and grindings can sprout mushrooms which may reappear year after year.
We can remove these grindings leaving the void ready for soil and seed.
